How it begins….

Years ago, I set out to find a glass vase that offered both aesthetic sophistication and textural depth, without the premium price. After days of searching, I discovered a market saturated with repetition. Vases that looked nearly identical, restrained in design, and devoid of individuality. This realization inspired me to create glass vases that embody uniqueness and contemporary expression, offering forms with character and depth.

My glass vase designs often begin as pencil sketches, where ideas take shape before evolving into painted form. Inspiration flows from many places—textile patterns, architecture, nature, and fashion. At times, my drawings are meticulously detailed; other times, the vision is clear enough that no sketch is needed. I work in small quantities, sourcing only one or two vases of a given shape or style, never in bulk. Each piece is hand-painted and never replicated. I also invite customers into the creative process, offering the opportunity to influence the design or select their own colour palette, making the finished work a reflection of both artist and collector.
